Caftans of Star Trek!

I guess maybe this little brown number by William Ware Theiss is more of a tunic on "girl #2" here in the Eden episode. That is literally her name in the credits (the actress is Phyllis Douglas), the other chicky has a name, why not give poor Phyllis a name? If there is one thing that Star Trek does, it's name every single thing! Anyhow good tunic or mini-caftan. Oh oh, the guy with PD at the top is named Tongo Rad!

Leighton Meester at Chanel. This is a great ensemble, it is a little hippie a little gothy, one thing it isn't is summery. Man, I can't imagine how hot it would be in that, it looks like it might be leather! Whatever it is, it is definitely not breathable. She looks great though.

Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

I just watched The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and aside from really enjoying it, I really loved the costumes. I was also captivated by actress/model Lily Cole, I've only ever seen her in fashion shows, but she is really extraordinary to look at. I'd like to see a film with Cole, Swinton, and Ron Perlman.


Cole looks like a doll, a 1960s model, and a magical creature at the same time. Here are some more images from the film. Heath Ledger was great in it as well, what a loss of talent...

Re-mix Shoes

I was reminded of Re-Mix shoes because Dita Von Teese is wearing a black patent leather version of the above red Picasso Wedge by Re-mix. They make fab retro style shoes and there are a few styles on sale on Amazon right now! A really good sale that I still can't afford but still, gorgeous and comfy shoes (so I've been told).
