Francoise Dorleac - Tragic Bon Vivant
French actress and model Francois Dorleac was the older and more famous sister of Catherine Deneuve (at least in the 1960s). She starred in many films including Truffaut's The Soft Skin, Polanski's Cul-de-Sac, and Demy's The Young Girls of Rochefort with her sister. At age 26 she was poised for international fame when she crashed her car in Nice France and died tragically. She is best known for her carefree spirit and style and though she only has a small body of work, it endures. Let's not forget this style icon!
